You’re missing the point. The point is to be able to say you’ve been there. After all, we all know you’re not *really* a traveler until you’ve joined and waded through the crowds of other tourists to get your own selfie of the exact same pic several hundred million tourists have taken. Or at least that’s the message I’m getting from most of these bloggers. lol.
But completely agree with you. Lived in Crete for awhile. The travel blogger world has long-since transformed Santorini into basically an expensive, crowded destination for that requisite, over-hyped post card selfie. But if you think you need that selfie to impress your friends and pad your “travel cred”, go for it.
